Our Story
Outdoor Projects was born out of a desire by owner Grace Perkins to spend more time in her backyard enjoying the garden she had just put in. Mrs Perkins at the time was into interior designs and furniture manufacturing.
Not long after the gardening bug bit her she started to design and build beautiful garden structures and outdoor furniture for existing customers. Pleased with the results she went on to pursue further studies in design and an apprenticeship in carpentry.
Mr Gaston Perkins later joined the business and brought his knowledge and expertise in engineering as the company's project manager. This was when the company took off and began to seek commercial clients mainly in the hotel and property management arena.
